correct tyre pressure

Can any one suggest what should be correct tyre pressure for 275/45/20, just general week ebd road use with no load or towing,been informed 42 psi all round but doesnt sound right ? Knowledgeable answers appreciated Full fat 4.2 Sc
Full fat vogue 4.4 petrol
Jaguar XJR super charged
Porsche cayenne
Tvr tuscan mk1
Bmw mini cooper

42 seems high, i would try 33/36 like the standard 255-50-20 size.

I only use 42 if i'm fully loaded and roof rack full , as Stan says 36 is a good place to be . 2008 MY Supercharged

and no ugly kid windows.
