Removing retractable side steps

Is this easy to do as I can't stand them.

time to change your car profile then. Wink

re your question, very easy if you dont mind crawling underneath...put the FF in off road and use ramps and there will be enough room to undo the bolts...the wiring and ecu can stay in place..

if you are selling ,give me a pm.. ... - .- -.

Unless you want to sell them - just turn them off.

I have mine permanently off - I figured for the hassle of removing them, I'd just leave them there for the next owner. Though they have been used once or twice with elderly relatives, so worth keeping IMHO

I always used to keep mine turned off, on this RR and previous, until my hip started giving me grief.
Now I find them invaluable.
You never know whats around that corner. 2008 Vogue Black - gone
2012 Vogue SE White - gone
2016 Autobiography Blue - gone
2019 Autobiography Grey - gone
2020 SVAutobiography Red

be aware that if you do want to take them off you will need to replace a front trim to the sills which I doubt you have.
When DSS are fitted at the dealership, that piece of trim is removed and usually thrown away.
