New year and an oil leak

Hi All,

I have had a few issues with my RR over the year and a half I have owned it, to the point nearly took it back after the last 3k bill for a repair.

Everything had been running well for the last 6 months. I got back from a trip and noticed a smallish pool of black in the snow on the drive and my heart sank. I waited for my wife to arrive home so I could inspect under the car and lo and behold there is an oil leak and a nice oil smear as you can see in the pictures.

I cant see where its actually coming from, but I have tried to take some pictures:

Can anyone offer any advice? Im not looking forward to taking it into the dealer to get this issue resolved. Also I dont seem to be able to measure the oil level, it always shows "Oil Level Not Available" ive tried it warm, cold, leaving it for 10 mins etc.

I know that others recon that their oil level shows within 10 minutes of stopping engine, but mine definitely only works after the engine has been switched off over 20 minutes.
The oil leak topic is well documented thanks to a thread started by Craig.
New O rings required on oil feed pipe at back of engine.
A relatively easy fix.

Thanks for the reply.

I'll take a look at the other oil leak thread.

Is it a serious problem or can I continue to drive the RR and keep an eye on the oil level or should I leave it until it's repaired?

Thanks!
