United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black
Brake light LEDS

Hi All,

I am in the process of changing the individual LED's in the rear cluster of my 2004 Vogue due to some of them failing. I am wondering if any one had done this before, if not i will do a write up for this process.

Many Thanks.

Stuart.

i can see why you're attempting to replace the individual leds as the 'circuit board' costs around £100...

would taking this circuit board from a damaged rear light unit be easier..

I've got one of those led clusters in full working order lying in my box of useful bits doing nothing if it is of any use to you. Thumbs Up

Are we on about the high level brake light here?

Mines got 3 or 4 leds out, and I've just bought a second hand tailgate without the rust - the lense is broken on that one!

Not sure whether I can make one or not out of the two! I look forward to hearing how you get on!

Ah my bad.

Didn't think the 2004 Vogues had Leds in the cluster, my 2002 is just two lamps! Sorry

You will find the brake lights are LED'S in your year, they all had them, the bulbs are for side lights and indicator... Thumbs Up Pete

Hi,

It is the 19 LED cluster, I have just repaired mine for about £4 It takes a little time with a good soldering iron. Mine had 4 failed LEDS and it took the whole cluster out.

Thanks.

Stuart.
