Latest Best Replacement Reversing Cam

Gents,

I've looked through all the reverse cam threads and have now taken out my faulty reverse camera, played with the wiring and re-soldered joints etc but still no joy so I'm going to Mod it with a replacement cam.

Most of the ebay links on the applicable threads have expired now so I just wanted to check first before I order to ensure I get the correct and best spec I can. I also assume most are both PAL and NTSC compatible these days? Also I'd like to get the best resolution I can to make the most of the latest tech.

Any advice from the gurus? Very Happy

NTSC only for the MOST system. NTSC/PAL or PAL camera won't work. John

There's an option in the 753 menu to switch the rear camera between PAL and NTSC.

I've recently replaced my camera with a NCTS so I'm not sure if you fit a PAL camera and then switch it in the menu that it will work but certainly worth a try for anyone who mistakenly fitted the wrong one before refitting another one.

It goes to black and white and then loses the picture and needs to be done every time you start the system.

I bought an NTSC/PAL camera when looking to install and got the above ie. effectively it doesn't work. Had to go NTSC only to get a result. John
