What are your top 5 updates you'd like to see?

If Land Rover quizzed you on your car and the overall experience of owning and running it what would you ask them to improve on to ensure you would stay loyal to the brand/model at your next purchase?

If there's enough response maybe we can send the results to a certain Dr Boss Man.

My top 5 would be:

Work on improving hybrid technology to offer customers a real credible alternative.
Improve the servicing experience massively at some dealers less so at others.
Segregate the Range Rover from the other models when purchasing/servicing to gain a premium customer service.
Sat Nav graphics/technology - even MY17 are not great and still a long way behind the competition.
Improve the feel of the gear selector to stop having to look at it's position when manoeuvring.
Create more individuality between Vogue/Vogue SE/Autobiography in terms of outward appearance.

That's six!

I'd agree with all of those. I think the next thing will be to let you put your own sat nav from your phone onto the screen - so you have google maps or Waze. Also make the screen portrait not landscape. I want to see the road ahead, not the road to the side. See Tesla for how to do it.

LR Hybrid tech is a bit useless at the moment. The XC80 is far more impressive. I'm interested in the all electric F-Pace, so JLR is getting there.

My MD is laughable. No clue at all.

The rotary dial gear selector is a dead end dud. Kill it quietly now.

front and rear cameras should be given the ability to record to a hard drive.
interior mood lighting needs improvement, I can hardly tell its there unless it is pitch dark.
as mentioned above sat nav needs improvement.
the jack needs to be replaced with something fit for purpose as the present offering is blatantly dangerous.
only 4 spring to mind. Confused Confused Confused Agueroooooooooo. 93-20
I swear you will never see anything like this ever again....watch it..drink it in.

Jack is a brilliant idea.the current one is a corporate manslaughter case waiting to happen.
The recording of camera feeds is a good idea.
4G wifi hotspot (rather than 3G)

My wishes are simple and easy to implement.

1. Allow selection of Low Box whilst on the move like the L322

2. Make the headlights come on if the fog light switch is operated.
In fog the auto lights do not always come on so if you want foglights you have to switch the lights to manual and then remember to switch them back afterwards. But on my Mini switching on the foglights when the lights are on auto brings all the lights on

1 Get rid of the rotary gear selector
2 Get rid of the rotary gear selector
3 Get rid of the rotary gear selector
4 Get rid of the rotary gear selector
5 Get rid of the rotary gear selector letters not necessarily in the right order

Mine are perhaps a little simple but
I’d like to see better use of dedicated switches for key functions but for instance I want to put my heated seat on straight away not wait 30 seconds for the media centre to start up.
Id like brighter more vivid options for main tft screen, which I personally find too dull on night time settings even when the rehostat is up to max.
Comfier font chairs. Now I know they are good but they could be better still.
Put the SDV6 in and up the 4.4 power.
Sort out the rear seat belts so that they don't get stuck behind the seats every time you lower and then raise the rear seats

Having had one fall off the jack, I agree, it's not fit for purpose! Last time I had a puncture (On the side of the A1) I phoned LR assist & a nice AA man was there with me in 10 minutes. Never again will I attempt to change a wheel on a RR without a decent trolley jack

I second that....

Whats up with the gear knob? Don't older L322's have that? I think it looks fantastic but is it style over function?

Improve infotainment system and it's functionality. Even in the latest form it is far behind the Germans.
Improve Headlight functionality. Adaptive headlights are still poor compared to 4M Q7 or F15 X5 LED.
Improve the audio system. The 825w is lacking bass at low levels and clarity at high levels.
Majority of the "options" should not be options once entering the SC level.
Other than that the team at LR/RR did a fantastic job on the L405.
No real complaints at all. https://instagram.com/_.iconoclast/
