United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Indus Silver

It looks like the fight will begin, here is the entirely expected response:

The car is back from the body shop, and looks great!

Our senior technician has taken your car for a good drive to try and replicate your comments.

Re the noise (junction 9 M25) he got a noise on a similar road surface and says that is the 22 inch wheels on that type of surface (concrete from memory) – I have myself experienced this in different cars with a large wheel, a terrible surface.

Re your knocking comment. They have tested all your thoughts and all is in order with the ARC etc. They also looked for other possibilities as they could not replicate the problem. What we will do now is let the car settle overnight, cool down etc and I will go out with Harry tomorrow (and a tech) to see what we can hear / find.

I can confirm that in November 2015, the relevant security enhancements were carried out on your car, as per JLR’s advice.

What I don't get is how can I spot it and mention it on the test drive within 5 mins of driving and then without any comment from me my wife drove the car and next day said that it felt crashy you over anything but smooth roads.?

They called today to say that the Sales Manager was about to sign the car off after he had test driven it.

In response I sent them the exact wording from the Bulletin LTB00537v8 directly off TOPix and that I would be looking to return the car with a refund, or take it to another dealer or open a case with Land Rover....they called back within 5 mins having just replicated and found the problem.

I am hoping to find out the result early next week.

Maybe making progress thanks to all the info contained on this forum.

Sorry but I'm unclear on this.....Did you buy it from Land Rover? as I thought you said that it was out of warranty. 2016 SDV8 Autobiography

It was another poster who was not in warranty, mine has 2 yrs approved used warranty as only owned it for 2 weeks and I mentioned the harshness on the 2nd test drive that I took before purchasing...I assumed it was just the 22's but later found out it was not.

My car is still with the dealer, today they have said that 2 different technicians are driving the car to diagnose the issue that they have now recognised...I wonder if it will come back with "we need to change the bushes" and then once I return it when those wear out if it will be new bushes and control arms and then finally the ARC valve block or if they will listen to me and do the job as a whole now?

Thanks, did anyone get any emails or documentation to say "it is xyz that was wrong with your car"....just seems to be so common but almost corporate denial?
