Is it possible to remove side steps and fit deployable steps

MY 2011 RR has side steps with front mudguard that is moulded into the steps.

I want to remove the side steps and fit deployable steps, the front mud guard is going to beed to be removed, how is it attached will removing it show bodywork fitting points etc ?? 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE

Yes you can fit them, the front mudguards can be swapped for a plain type without the moulding, or you can leave them on, my steps clear the mudguard moulding when deployed.

If you opt for removing the mudguard I believe it will leave some visible holes. Current

I did this with mine, and got a set of genuine normal mud guards to replace the ones that are moulded for the steps.

the will be two holes in the lower panel which the mud guard fix to, so would be best to replace, as the moulded ones just down look right with the deployable steps.

Try your local MD and see if they are willing to offer a discount on the steps and mud guards, generally you can get 10% without to much hassle Thumbs Up which offsets the cost of the mud guards. But you can generally find genuine mud guards on bay of e for around £60. Regards
