TD6 Turbo leak & loose connectors in engine bay?

Hi guys, got oil leaking from the intake side of the turbo, fair bit seems to have come out although since I changed the crank case filter it doesn't look to have been getting any worse, engine has 142000 miles on it, is it just a case of new seals for the turbo or is it better to get it reconditioned at this stage? also any recommendations as to where it can be reconditioned?
Turbo does let off a small whistle if you take your foot off the accelerator quickly when its boosting if that makes any difference?

Also as I was cleaning out the diesel cooler radiator i took the big black pipe off of it and found these 2 loose connectors? there are 2 bolt holes in the strut below as well looks like something is missing?

We all have those connectors spare( td6 ). The oil could be a sign you changed your crankcase breather in time. When clogged up, it produces pressure in the bottom end, plus starving the turbo of oil. A really bad sign is the dipstick being pushed out through pressure.
There will aways be slight oil in the turbo, intercooler system, well every turbo diesel I've had.
I've no idea where you could get your turbo reconditioned, someone on here might know.
hope it helps. Greg.

The loose connectors are for the optional diesel cooler fan, usually fitted to vehicles in hot climates but not fitted to our FFs here in cold Blighty.

Dont know if they do Rangeys but I just had a Sprinter turbo done by AC Turbos in Skelmersdale after a recommendation. Cracking guys, know their stuff. Very helpful and quick turnaround by post. 2007 Vogue TDV8 with 255/55/20's fitted
