L322 5.0SC compared to L405 5.0

Looking for my next RR and it's going to be an L405. Had a look at the LR approved list and there aren't many 5.0 V8 petrols around so wondered if anyone on here has moved from the L322 5.0 SC to the L405 equivalent? If so what's the performance like as well as ride and the all important "smiles per mile" 😆 "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."

Well, I'm happy to give some feedback as I moved from L322 to L405, both 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography.
I must say the L405 is a huge step up from L322. It is more refined, better suspension set up, in the L322 you almost feel like you are at the helm of a ship, L405 is so much more nimble, we have quite some twisty roads down here and L405 is so much more enjoyable for the driver and passengers as it doesn't roll so much, DSC used to step in very early in L322, L405 can handle the power so much better. Economy is significantly improved also, probably due to the 8 speed gearbox.
Fantastic car the L405, I really loved my L322 but L405 is so much better in every way I don't regret the old one.

I made the move. The 8 speed gearbox in the L405 makes a big difference to the performance and enjoyment, also the ARC and quicker steering. The L405 5.0 is great to drive on twisty roads as well (this was not the L322's strong point).
