a/v off normally means that the radio is switched off.....try turning it on... ... - .- -.

Thank you for the answer but switching it on is far from the issue here, this is not my first rodeo with the L322 however this issue is, radio is intermittent, A/V off flashes every 4 or 5 seconds, cannot set the clock, Cd will not load , sat nav will not work, screen would not power off and drained battery, screen is on then off and on etc etc etc

I got one of these which is more convenient than the biro method as it is a straight plug in.
