United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography TDV6 Carpathian Grey
New AB Collected

Well the day came & she's now mine. So far so good, although a huge step change from the M5 that will take some getting used to.

Still not got everything setup & judging by the many toys/settings, it may take some time to get the car to just how i want her. Can't believe how comfortable the seats are though, glad i paid the little extra for the Style 24, my regular long journeys should be so comfortable.

More than happy with the standard 825W Meridian so kind of glad i din't shell out that extra £4k+

Can't get the Universal remote to work with the garage & learnt it may be that the RR possibly uses a newer frequency than our garage omits which would make that option a total waste of money, as it worked fine in the M5 which is only 3yrs old.

Baffled by how i get the rear climate control to work & thinking perhaps it can only be switched on if you've someone sat in the rear, but would be odd if that's the case.

Spotted above about Radar cruise & although the AB has it i've switched it off for now as is an option i've never favoured. The Lane Assist/departure etc. is useful for now, but only driven 30miles so far so will take longer to get used to what i'm being told & how it works. Liking the speed limit display & speed camera notification.

Also noted the only LandRover Apps i'm getting are Spotify (a must have for me) JustDrive & Shell Motorist App, i'd have thought more would be available & i've yet to see if i can access SMS, email & my iPhone calendar etc. yet

Got some piccies below, but weather was woeful when i picked it up so she got filthy by the time i got home.

Adaptive cruise is a fantastic aid (when you get used to it ) and then you wouldn't want to be without it. Lovely RR BTW Thumbs Up .

Thank you.

Back from it's first proper outing & am definitely now falling in love with the car. First impressions yesterday were not great after the 3G stopped working, felt like i had loads of settings to process & configure & as i was driving in wet/cold weather with roadworks & B roads, the size of the car was messing with my head, but having done the return trip in the dry & daylight i stated getting to grips with the size of the thing.

Re: New AB Collected

Unnecessary quote removed

Well at least that's one problem sorted. After spending a couple of hours trying to get the damned Universal Remote to pair up with my garage door, I managed to clear the garages memory so neither of the remotes worked either (I'm not good with being patient). Having now rendered one of our 2 garages useless I decided to call in an expert§.

Ended up costing £60 but that included a service for both doors & motors & as an added bonus, between us we managed to pair the car with the garage so my Universal Remote now works as it should. Wish I'd got someone in who knew what they were doing In the first place.

Still slightly frustrated it was so complicated in the FFRR, but so easy in the M5, however it's working so all good.

Now to tackle my 3G, USB, Media Drive & external drive issues. I'm making it one of my life goals to get these all working correctly by next weekend. Paul
