Front leather seat Base Cracking etc - L322 2007 Vogue

This is my first post, so here goes!
I have a Vogue 2007 with ivory seat bases and the drivers seat is badly wearing and cracking, as seems usual on RR I believe.
The seat base was "connolised" before i bought it, but this lasted about 3 months.
Is there any way to restore the seat base successfully? I have heard and read about The furniture clinic and other methods of sanding , filling and spraying the leather, but would like to know if these actually work??
Or does anyone know someone near London who restores the seat bases?
many thanks

Theres a thread in the wiki about refuebishing the seats which involves respraying them which a few people have done! You also get special glue/filler to fill in the cracks but i am not sure how long it lasts though. If its ripped at all i think its had it or needs a skilled upholsterer to repair it. Alternatively have a look on the bay and keep an eye out for a replacement base to come up in your colour.

You could locate a used passenger seat base from a breaker as they are interchangeable. Or look out on Enay for a replacement cover as they often crop up new at reasonable prices.

Put up some pics,

Is the leather ripped? Or are you just talking lines in the leather?

Leather dye is available and can help keep a seat in decent order, cleaning and conditioning them regularly will help with products like gliptone.

I have ivory in mine but it's on a 12 so it's much younger, the seats can get to the point where they look a bit grubby and the creases stand out. A good clean and a bit of colour on them and they come back to like new! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
