Berlin

Just trying to organise next year's long weekend away for me, Mrs Wogger and some friends.
Berlin has been suggested, anyone been/lived there?
What's to do there?
Beer/food ?
Any other suggestions for a weekend break away from Blighty ?

Took the family to Berlin a few months ago and had a brilliant time. We stayed in the Mecure near Check Point Charlie and where able to walk to most Museums and places of interest.

I recommend the Olympic Stadium, Jewish Museum, Alexanderplatz/Hoffbrau Keller, Checkpoint Charlie, Zoo/Gardens, Tiergarten Park, Bus Tour, Underground trains, Potsdamer Platz Shopping, Reichtag Building and the Mall of Berlin for the wife.

Great weekend away and short TAxi from Berlin Tegal Airport Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Fantastic place, beer yes, local food yes and international of course. Plenty to see on foot or by bus/tram.
What more can I say just do it.

Oh and if you are into Techno music you will be in Heaven!

We flew Eurowings (Germanwings) into Teigal and its dead cheap plus only a short taxi from Berlin Centre. Thumbs Up
