United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

Not quite as nice as some of yours in here Laughing Laughing 15 year old Focus. Worth less than your average mobile phone and costs next to nothing to run, the engines aren't all that strong but they take a day to replace and cost peanuts (Ive done it 3 times) Thumbs Up . Absolutely love this thing and enables me to enjoy the RR even more at weekends and special occasions Thumbs Up

United Kingdom

As we're being encouraged to post other marques, I thought I'd add my summer car here: -

I've owned it for just over three years now and been slowly modifying it to the state it's currently in, mods listed below: -

W3 Turbo upgrade for higher flow rate and faster spool times, Bulletproof V2 Transmission for quicker changes and to handle the power, turbo back exhaust system and full custom remap.
All the above items supplied by Weistec Engineering in California.

Quaife LSD, AMS Carbon Fibre high volume intakes including high flow filters to get the air into the bigger turbos.

All the above work has been completed by MSL Performance in Birmingham who have been brilliant.

The ECU has since been custom mapped by Eurocharged Performance, who managed to tweak quite a bit more from it as apparently the new transmission hadn't been taken into account with the Weistec map

Current figures are 728bhp and 792ft-lbs at the rear wheels. It's only been out a couple of times so far this year as, up in the North West of England, we get a lot of rain. The car doesn't handle too well in wet conditions, hence the need for a Range Rover as well. Smile

It has it's first appointment on a runway at the end of this month, so I can tell if it's all been worthwhile and perhaps do a little bit of tweaking, obviously weather permitting. Dave

WillyT,
My dad took me and my brother to see the RAC rally in a snowy Forrest in North Yorkshire in 1965.
I will never forget the noise ( both from the crowd and the car) when Timo Makinen came through in a works car , beautiful.

I am not certain, but I think they had frog eyes added as extra spot lamps. G reg 2.5VM Vogue Portofino red 1991- 1999

I built it myself back in 2004. It wasn't a "kit" at such but I got everything from CAV in Cape Town when it was owned by Jean Fourie.

I dont drive it much these days but I still love the car and it brings a massive smile to my face every time I look at it let alone drive it.

@Baltic Blue

Yes they were RAC winners back in their day along with many other endurance rallies.

This is what you might have seen - works car from 1965. Mines a 1964 and not quite as hard core

In car video of a friendly Autotest on the IOW - it has since been tuned again and now pumps out 210hp
