I had never seen a FFRR in Aintree Green in the flesh so to speak, so it was a bit of a gamble, even friends of mine went "Green, really?". But I am in no doubt now, definitely the right choice!

Very nice Thumbs Up

Just noticed your L405 is sitting on 20's. I thought all Autobiography's came with 21's as standard? 2014 SDV8 Autobiography Cool

Yep it's on 20's, you are correct 21's are standard but I am often in the Alps and 20's are better suited for snow with a smaller contact area but greater area weight. It was a practical decision over aesthetics!

I really like the green, and the interior looks cool too.

This place is so full of enablers,...... can I resist?

Looks stunning. On paper i'd not have thought that interior combo would work as well as it does look good.

Was going to make the same point about the wheels, but you've answered that point. Would it not have been a better idea to take the 21's that come with the AB & buy some aftermarket 20's?

I opted for the 22's that were a £2k paid option, but wish i'd taken the standard 21's & purchased the 22's aftermarket as would have been about £1k better off. Paul

I did consider that Paul, but I thought chances are I'd just roll around on the same set most of the time so might as well be practical. Plus less chance of curbing the 20's! It was a close decision though!

The interior was a gamble and I umm-ed and arr-ed, I liked the idea of the three tones, the espresso seats were again a practical consideration (hiding dirt etc), the almond seemed a classic tone for a Rangie. But I never actually saw what it looked like except in pictures (which can be inaccurate colour-wise). But now I've got it, the gamble paid off, it works really well, and it goes well with the Aintree Green.

Now though I can take a look and see if I can replicate those media transfer issues you had!
