SUSPENSION ON FRONT PASSENGER GOES UP AND DOWN

The suspension on the front goes up and down about 1 inch every so often. Someone suggested to change out the ride height sensor. I did and I think that made it stop but when measured with a tape measurer. Its about 0.5 inch higher than all corners. Does it need calibration and how much does that cost?

might need calibration...you can do this yourself if you purchase a GAP iidtool diagnostic tool.

If you are going to keep the vehicle for some time invest in an IIDtool BT, it might cost you $600 odd, but will pay for itself over vehicle ownership, considering what the dealerships and indpendendant charge for diagnosis every time. I will pay pfor itself over and over. It will calibrate the suspension also. Good thing is as you upgrade to a later model Rangie or Land Rover , you can get a licence for that vehicle also and use it.
