England 2002 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Java Black
Polish / Wax

Always polished and waxed my cars with Maguirs and never had an issue. Now , after reading Auto Expess , their top wax was Bilt Hamber Double Speed Wax. At £14 with an applicator pad and microfibre cloth from Amazon I thought I would give it a go ! Worst decision ever !!! Bodywork is now like glass with a fantastic deep shine and I have never seen so much bird crap in my life Shocked I think even cows must be flying over and dropping their load on the full fat ! If anyone didn't know - birds always go over water - hence why on shiny cars ! Sad This is one reason why I never wax the roof of my cars and never had an issue with the matt finish on my military 101's a few years ago ! Apart from that I cannot recommend the product highly enough ! Very Happy

i like the valet pro snow foam / wheel wash and then use all autoglym products.

Autoglym Super Resin Polish
Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection
Autoglym HD Wax

i like the above 3 alot.. normally just use the super resin and then extra gloss i find it work even on a very hot day. 2003 Range Rover 4.4 Litre V8 - Adriatic blue

Over the years I have tried everything from Turtle Wax , Autoglym , Zymol to what I thought was the best - Maguiers . However , I have got to say that so far , this is the best I have used !

In a test about 15 years ago the Autoglym gloss extra protection was found to be the only one at the time to resist bird lime. I have used it ever since I came across the Bilt Hamber last week !

Poor boys black hole is very good easy to use, recently used a product called G3 which gave good results but requires to be left on to haze rather than my preferred apply and remove straight away products,my fav is armourall shield which seems to last and a wipe on wipe off product that doesnt smear or leave any residue. Full fat 4.2 Sc

That's Not really demonstrating much, as I found any good polish once applied and water is poured on the surface will run off. The test of a good polish is really if you still get the same results months after you first applied it.

Black hole wouldnt be great as a final finish, it is only a polish, it offers no uv protection, or other type of protection. The way works is by acting like a 'filler' to mask swirl marks and small scratches. This is what gives the deep shine.

You will need to apply a wax after black hole to protect for a duration of time.

As mentioned, AG HD wax is a very good product, but a really good cheaper option would be collinite 476s wax. Its about 20 quid a tin, and theres enought for around 40 applications on something the size of a FF. 2009 Westminster. Mariana black with ivory leather.

Australia 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand

I have a tin of Mothers Brazilian Gold to get through. I was a bit disappointed with is wax. Hard work and doesn't bead that well. I've gone to Bowdens and AG instead. I'm quite happy with both. Very quick. Very similar results. ______________________________
