Saw one in Birmingham yesterday so took a quick look and seemed ok but maybe a bit bland, the stats are not bad for a big car and size.It runs three turbos to make lag a thing of the past and seems good on fuel i know its no way a FF but can see a few sales at the price. _____________________________________________________

I had a V8 Touareg with about 100bp less than this and that flew, much quicker than the FFRR SDV8 and the SQ7 is quicker than the SC but as you rightly say it's no FFRR.

When ever I have a little wobble and think what else would I rather have, I momentarily consider the Q7 and even a couple of others but I just keep coming back. I even thought the new D5 could be something to make me switch but even that was an anti-climax. Truth is the FFRR doesn't really have a comparable, maybe when Jaguar launch their large SUV that will change but for now there's nothing that does it better

I keep thinking of a V12 Q7 as they're now very good value. As with the SQ7, interesting engine, uninteresting car.

SQ7 is effectively a half-price diesel Bentayga.

......or the Bentayga is an overpriced Audi......

I struggle to understand the point of cars like the SQ7. If you want a "fast" Audi that can transport stuff, an RS6 is surely the choice of the intelligent...  Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
