Front and Rear differential oil for L322 V8, 2003 model

just need to double check that i can use Castrol Syntrax Longlife 75w-90 in both the front and rear diff for the oil change?

Any tips on doing the oil change?
Do i need to buy/replace any washers on the drain and fill plugs?

cheers.

This workshop manual link should help and it advises what oil to use:

Then, this link is a long running changing diff oil thread that will also help. It is straightforward to do:

thanks for the replies guys......

Wiki states that the front diff take Castrol SAF X0s 75w90 (which is now rebranded as Castrol Syntrax Longlife 75w90) and the rear diff takes Castrol Carbon 75w90.

So do i use two different oils or is it ok to use Castrol Syntrax for both front and rear diffs as they both have the same temperature range viscosity?

The castrol carbon is used if you have the electronic locking rear diff I beleive. If its the normal one its the same oils from and back. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue
