Tarnished bonnet lettering and paint lifting?

Seen a few L405 (and also RRS) on main dealer forecourts with tarnished/ blackened bonnet lettering.

No great issue?

But... someone at the dealership said they now refuse to try and remove/ replace due to examples of paint lifting Shocked

Tarnished letters on cars 2 or 3 years old surprised me Rosco but no big deal as have seen many posts on here where people want to change L322 lettering.

Was very surprised though to be told bonnet paint has lifted off in previous cases so selling dealer doesn't want to attempt changing tarnished lettering... Unless that was sales BS.

Not a mark on our 2007 or 2012 lettering either Thumbs Up
