As above really gents, anyone know off hand the size of the Torx bit for the gearbox filler plug (I'm assuming it's a torx). Got a few broken ones that I never bothered to replace so want to make sure I have the correct one before putting it on the ramp.

The filler plug requires a spanner (15 or 17mm) - makes sure this comes off before tackling the drain plug, six sided ring spanner best for this if tight, not enough room for a socket.

The drain plug is a torx, something like a 45 .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

Thanks Got plenty single hex spanners, it's big torx that I'm short of. Should replace them when broken, but you never do until needed I'll have a look around for some good torx, doubt if I'll invest in snap on anymore though at my time of life.
