Steering column ignition problem

Most probably have to replace steering column as key is not turning.
Googling to find out possible cheap solutions found this:https://advancedkeys.com/index.htm

Wondering if have you ever heart something about such a solution

Any reply will be most welcome

dont replace the column

i had the same issue in mine, the key wont turn, the best way to check to make sure its the column is to disconnect the battery and reconnect and then try turning, should work, there is a way to drill a hole and solve this problem without replacing the column

Thanks mrsamram.Unfo drilling didnot work for me.also trick with connector 0255 as is for later models.Charged and reconnected battery still nothing.Only solution seems to be either replacement of steering column or for cheaper solution "advancedkey" which as per supplier info is fully compatible with rr
