Found the automatic towbar on my hire car.....result!

Was thinking in getting one fitted but have one on the small outlander for now, but Need one a few times a year for boat and jetski trips but in general can manage without it, but it was gonna be a pain this weekend without one and whilst my RR doesn't normally have one it was in the plan.......but clever bit of kit!!

Won't work without endinge turned off tho to deploy....bit bizarre but hey them the rules!! lol

Alistair is your an auto deploy one?

Who else has them? anyone retro fit? all smug in my new plug!

deffo on the spec list for my new 2018 car if I go for it.

I had one on the cayenne which was electric and just found it so easy to use. RR one just the same. Why they charge so much for it I have no idea.

Did you spec it BKR or did your car come with it?

It certainly is Thumbs Up

I think retro fit is prohibitively expensive - i was quoted £3k Shocked IIRC its a £1k option to factory fit which is significant enough.

Have you worked out that you can raise & lower the car using the key fob yet ? THat's very cool if you have a heavy trailer that's at the wrong height.

Whenever I get my boat out of storage, it's aways wrong - they use a little tractor and invariably even if i wind the jockey wheel all the way, the car is still too low, so I get to play with my toy Cool

Have it, rather cool. The later ones can be deployed from the centre screen and they also have a lights test program that cycles through turning the trailer lights on and off in a sequence.
