Help. Supposed suspension problems

OK - got the beast back from the garage on Friday with all its lifeblood changed. Engine, transmission, transfer box and Diffs.

I parked it up after paying to collect later when Mrs Berkshirelad was going to run me down to collect it and the steering went to the bottom of its tilt setting and would not move.

I posted about this and from the responses gathered it was a [problem with the tilt motor. Since Saturday, however, it's been perfect.

On a run out on Saturday I got HDC control warnings and suspension inactive; sure enough the orange light was out on the switch. Stopped a short while later and all reset with engine restart and then re-occurred some minutes later. Has not come up since.

Put the IIDBT on yesterday and it only found 8 ECUs and a message about the hi-speed bus failing. No issues today.

What the hell is going on....

Could be that your FFRR also is suffering from the hot weather gremlins? .

Standard query - how's your battery?

Could also be a cause for your steering tilt problem. On the latter it might be worth dropping the lower shroud and checking the motor connections for firmness and possible corrosion as well. John
