United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Baltic Blue

Big fan of the SD1's and other stuff from that era (excluding Maxi's Princesses or Allegros).

Nice Thumbs Up

Is the blue one a 3.5? I didn't realise they had two inlets into the plenum. My Classic RR's 3.5 and 3.9 only had / have one. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

SD1's were fantastic motors. I've had 4 of them . Always wanted a Vitesse in red. The twin plenum wasn't standard is I remember. I'd still love one again.. Whistle Tony

United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aintree Green

Had a soft spot for SD1's since launch - more photos please!

My dad owned one of the very first and what a crowd puller it was!! Almost impossible to get hold of and discounts were unheard of at the time. Okay, it needed a fair amount of, erm, "final assembly" on the driveway and the power steering pump did fall off the car on a motorway skip road at a few months old but, with looks like those, you could forgive it almost anything Very Happy

Just noticed the American spec headlamps on the blue one!

United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Aintree Green

My Dad had two SD1s, both V8 5 speed manuals. In early July 1980 i passed my driving test aged 17 yrs 6 months. In late July that year, the old man did his back in and couldn't drive. He couldn't sign off work so I got to drive him around the country in a 'Pendilican' white SD1 with beige/gold interior. Spent 6 weeks driving thousands of miles in that car and loved it. Was a bit tail happy though.....

I love SD1s - there is an early V8 manual burbling about in Teignmouth as a daily driver - Fabulous!

These boys live up the road from me, I love seeing it about.....

Knew they were rare, but didn't realise so few were made. A mate had one and used to do track days with it, it was lower than a snakes belly.
