Ford edge

In the ford showroom the other day, and on show was the ford edge, what a humongous car, Canadian I believe.
Loverly looking motor. Price tag about ฃ42,000.
I know it's a blue oval, but nice looking car. Thumbs Up

Saw one on the road the other day. Thought it looked quite smart. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

Maybe it looks better in the flesh but the pictures aren't making me think, that's a possibility. Too generically Tiguan, Toureg, Macan, poorly inflated Fiesta etc etc for my taste....at least the Velar has style. The Ford just looks like an everyday soft-roader to me.

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover SE Td6 Zermatt Silver

I have had one as loaner when I bought my 2017 Mustang GT. It looks nice but feels very ordinary inside and a pretty boring drive too.

Top marks for the looks though I had long thought Ford should bring the (US) Edge into its lineup. Thumbs Up

I'm not ashamed to say I really like the Skoda Kodiaq!

The Kodiaq is a nice place to sit as well.

Was playing in one of those at Bristol street last weekend while waiting for SWMBOs car. Seemed well screwed together and a decent kit level. And comes with 7 seats!! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

Skoda Kodiaq; oh dear.

A Toureg in everything but name, I suspect, and probably with the same lack of headroom (for me) and small interior space generally for such a large car.

Not a bad looking car, but sadly not for me.
I test drove the Toyota rav4, the hybrid one, wouldn't take much getting used too, but again the boot space was borderline along with a few other models.
anyway looks likely to be a ford galaxy, as it has all the space we need.
now I'll wait for the flack. Laughing

The edge looked like a reasonable car last year when I saw it at a show, the biggest down side for me.was only 5 seats not a 7 seater which it could easily be

Yes, we like them big. I often park in the FFRR in the "Compact Car Only" spots at work. It fits just fine.

Not driven it, but did drive one of their top end sedans about a car ago. Deeply disappointing. (Rental car, so who cares).
