Sad day for me on Friday, my car has been returned to the supplying dealer in Halifax. Gutted to say the least.

Rejected due to problems with the new infotainment system stalling and resetting itself and after 5 months of ownership being advised Land Rover are working on a update but cannot confirm a date when it will be available,
Also went back with Climate control not getting cold and the Start/Stop was also inoperative.

Why rejected?

Such a shame as its a lovely looking RR.
Glad you got the right outcome though.

Mine never came back from the dealer so am in their RRS loan car until i've been fully refunded which i'm hopeful will be sometime this week. I've emailed the JLR UK MD & Global CEO in an attempt to get my situation resolved as quickly as possible.

I for sure won't be touching another JLR product for quite some time. Paul

It is a 1993 Mk5 2wd RS2000, been in my possession since 1995.

Nice, and sorry for being OT. Had one from new on a J plate in 1992, only kept it a short while. Replaced with a few cossies etc. Last one was an escos, then lost the love for 'em, now just can't afford a Mk2 RS2000. Anyway, once again, sorry for thread derailment.

Shame to hear your bad luck but doesn't seem to be isolated incident judging by reading on here.
Problem I see is that if you don't want another JLR product what else is a direct replacement that has the style, kudos and looks/interior design that we all enjoy? Certainly I can't think of anything German but maybe a Bentayga in the right colour or is that too much over budget. Cayenne's have no character, X5's are just plain dull, Q7 is a little bit interesting but also very clinical and MB products are currently way off the mark.
Interesting to see what replacement vehicle you and others settle with.

u cant beat a land rover and i am going to see a used one this afternoon, same car except 3.0ltr engine so fingers crossed i wont be without for one for long

this car is now back on the market.
