Height sensors

Well my lopsided L322 '57 plate 3.6TDV8 issues continue. I've traced the problem to a failing near side front height sensor (trace like a heart beat while the other three are flatlined). Quite a difference in cost between genuine and aftermarket, any recommendations?

Recently fitted rear aftermarket ones to a mates fullfat all is well, they are not hard to change, get an aftermarket one should it fail then replace with original, aftermarket ones around £20 and 30 mins to change

So, any links for the £20 front height sensors, then? (were they for the early L322 with Xenons/6 pins?) .

I wonder the same, the cheapest one I could find that looked any good was £45, I thought it went faulty after a few days and bought a genuine one for around £80, turns out the problem was with my diagnostic tool!

I'd recommend genuine one though, I always feel I'm less likely to have problems - unless money is an issue then i'd go OEM spec!

The back ones purchased were £20 off guessing the fronts are more? Havnt looked them up didn't think there would have been much difference from back to front

Hi Lukie - there is a big difference in price, normally double Smile (Don't know why, they are pretty much the same Question ) .

Thanks for the advice. As I need this in a hurry, and will only have an hour or so to fit it and calibrate the suspension before heading off on holiday, I have bit the bullet and gone for the genuine LR part. Here's hoping its as simple a fit as it looks.
