Just sold my rrs and came over to the vogue side and wow what a difference just picked up my 2010 vogue se tdv8 !
In black 88k full Land Rover history fully loaded with rear entertainment paid £14850 for it ! Was that a good deal ?

Also need to top my coolant up but don't know what colour is used says pink or orange ? It has always been serviced at land rover which colour do they use ?

Any OAT based coolant. You can buy it from Halfords ready mixed for a few quid, it's the one which is t green/blue.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I think you can only check oil level with ignition on but not running. Then it should come up in the menu system. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

as Rob says, ignition on will reveal the oil level menu..has to be done when the oil is warm i believe, its all in the owners manual.. ... - .- -.

you should check the engine oil when warm, go for a drive, let the car stand for 10 mins then press the ignition button without your foot on the brake.

turns the screen on.

then press the steering wheel button to get the menu up and navigate through the service menu to the oil level check.

If it says oil level not available then open the bonnet. It will read the level if the bonnet is open even if the car isn't quite ready to display it...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Just checking coolant level (I'm abit clueless when it comes to antifreeze etc I have bought the pink one
I have check the level and took a picture as unsure wether it's really low as I undone the little screw next to main filler cap and loads off coolant rushed down in to main tank and put the coolant level to between the guide lines any help be great and the antifreeze in the car is orange and one I have is pink can I mix or does it have to be orange ?

Welcome to the forum and its deffo a steal mate, very good price.

I prefer not to mix it. I was in the same situation and therefore did a full drain.. gives you peace of mind. Although if its the same kind then mixing shouldnt be a problem. Current:

Tbh I only want to top up abit so I can feel safe I'm getting booked in at my local indie for a drain and service so you think he ok just to top up with the pink ? Just till next week

If its just next week.. top up it up with water.. its wont cause any harm.

Its is something you can do yourself too.. Fairly easy job Current:
