New ignition key purchase

Does any one know if you buy a new key from the dealer does it come already chipped to you ignition or do you have to have it cloned?
I know you have to program it to the ecu for the remote to work was wondering about the ignition?

Contact dan@duckworths, he can sort you out with a new key at best price, just supply your VIN and i believe the key comes ready to sync with the car. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

I bought a new key via the Duckworth route. It came pre cut but I had to do a simple synch process myself before it was fully functional. Got the info on how to do it from here. RR History
