Feedback on telephone

Hi Ive got a 2007 4.2 SC which I recently purchased ! when using my iPhone 7 on Bluetooth connection the person I'm calling or who is calling me gets an echo of their own voice and its a really terrible connection.

Ive been told its the Bluetooth module for which their is no LR software or firmware upgrade but I have also been told that there is an upgrade, also been told it could be the microphone, phone connects ok and you can see the telephone book although it does not scroll properly

Been told I need the mobridge Bluetooth replacement module for £600

As the car comes with the LR integrated phone system I have ordered a cradle and a 6320I Nokia to see if this gets round the problem by diverting my iPhone to it when in the car

Grateful for any insight or personal experiences

Thanks

Chris

Mine is an 05 2006 MY with Bluetooth, and the Bluetooth unit is no longer available from LR.

I think the Disco 3/4 unit will fit and work though

cheers Alex

No I have not bought the tool ! YET !

Car is into LR Service tomorrow for a new deployable side step bracket and a check of all the electronics systems for updates

Also I have now ordered a Nokia cradle and a Nokia 6230i to see if avoiding Bluetooth works then that will confirm
