If your TD6 is a Vogue then I guess you have the sat nav system fitted? If so, just go through ‘SET’ to ‘DATE’ and you can change the format there

Hi, change the clock to 24hr format, that will show correct format of date.
Its in the audio system manual. Thumbs Up

I have exactly the same problem in my 03 Vogue i.e date in US format.
Even though all the options are there to be seen and selected in the settings screen they simply will not change.
And it's not just the date either, it's everything.

Can't change clock to 24h format
Can't change Km to Miles
Can't change L/100Km to MPG

None of the above actually effect me as I am in a metric country, but it would be nice to know why the settings are "stuck" as they are. Rob

Its possible your instrument cluster may have been changed at some point. Try looking at what option 10 in the hidden instrument pack menu is (check the wiki) to see if its a metric or imperial country setup on the pack Current Fleet:-

nicksaab,

You are exactly right.
My option 10 reads LAND: 02 US

I suppose changing that isn't an easy thing to do? Rob

Its possible that the IID tool might reprogramme it, failing that possibly dealer software? Current Fleet:-

Hi Nicksaab,
I am very new to this site and I really am an Old Codger ( Not always Miserable) a 7 year old knows more about computers and programming than I will ever know. Early 2017 I imported my 322 from Japan and have recently been playing around with the binnacle/speedo to change the speedo dial display. I am no expert but have picked up a few things about them. For instance the part number of UK binnacles is YAC 501230 and the speedo dial has main MPH and inner KPH. My Japanese binnacle is part YAC501220 and has KPH dial only. I can definitely say that they both have date formatting, temp (C or F) formatting and gallons/Litres format.

There is another binnacle with part number YAC 501210 this has main MPH and inner KPH I guess this is put on the USA exports and is the one in yours ( Your code 10 shows 02 US )

The strange thing is that if yours is US model it would have the date format as shown on yours but temp in F and miles in Gallons because that what is mainly used in USA.So it must be interchangeable. Yours does not so if you can't change it then there must be a fault.

A word of caution!!! If your RR is a USA model and you change from litres to gallons then your MPG will be different because US gallons are about .2 more than an imperial gallon. Not sure if that can be programmed, probably not or they would not need separate part numbers.

As a side issue imperial gallons are based on the weight of 10 lbs of water and US gallons weight of dry grain.

Correction UK Binnacle YAC 501220 and Japanese YAC 501230.. Not just old but obviously now the mind can't get things right first time... Well I suppose there are sometimes advantages having to do things twice to get them right....

The other way around - the Imperial gallon is 20% larger than a US gallon. Ron B. VK2OTC

p38arover,

Hi, yes of course you are right, I lived in USA for 4 years and knew that. But did you not read I have to do everything twice to get it right once http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif
