Faulty traction control

I have a fault that just keeps coming back.

I get a message showing on the centre screen "Traction Control System Fault" followed closely by "Special Programmes Unavailable". The orange lights extinguish on the HDC, programme selector and suspension control switch.

Often, but not always, this is almost immediately followed by "Suspension Locked" and then "Suspension Lowered" on the dash display.

Car continues to drive normally down the road. All is reset by ignition (ie it's gone the next time you start the car).

IID isn't finding any fault codes for TCM or EAS

Help!!

Have you had the car tracking done recently? Sometimes faults along these lines can be thrown up by the steering angle sensor calibration.

If the car is tracked out of true with the wheel slightly out of line then he car thinks it's going round a corner when you are going straight...... confuses it.

There is a lock to lock method of recalibration have a search, might be an IiD tool job tho... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Interesting... Idea

This has only happened since a steering arm has been changed.

I'll get the tracking checked asap.
