Lol....

It's a funny reason I'm looking to change... they say it's the little things...

The Grand Cherokee is like sitting inside a 1970's Datsun, the plastic trim everywhere is similar quality to a plastic milk bottle... the leather is like cardboard, the suspension knocks and bangs over bumps and potholes (and there is nothing wrong with it) The boot is small... Not enough left foot room (size 13!!) My 88 year old mother has a job getting in as it won't sit down for her... It's a diesel...

But none of that really matters...

I've played with the 3.0ltr Mercedes V6 diesel a bit and it's now putting out over 270bhp and over 600nm, it will spin all four wheels on take off and embarrass a lot of cars, It has three locking differentials and is just about totally unstoppable off road, I've fitted an Android head unit with sat nav so I know where I'm going. It is very comfortable for me being built for fat Americans.... Repairs have stretched to one bulb in 7,000 miles and it never plays the "bong of death"

But none of that matters...

What is totally and utterly me off, and everyone else who rides in it, especially SWMBO, is that fact that they decided to save another 20p when building it and there is no little wheel or slider to turn off the dash or rear air vents.... I like them on and the boss doesn't. The direction wings can be turned fully one way but you still get 40% odd of air out of them... the rear ones are real they are so cheap and nasty and badly fitting that they make your left elbow freezing (they are at the rear of the center arm rest) and there is no way to even turn them down a bit...

The boss is threatening to tape them up..!!! and it's a bone of contention on every trip and will only get worse as the temperature drops...

So.... what to swap it for.... an early 4.2S/C, should be able to fit an Android unit to it fairly successfully.... but nothing else you understand... just keep it stock, no offroading, no modding, no playing.... if I say it enough etc etc.....
