td6 ECU replacement

Hello All,

Sadly i think that the ecu in my TD6 is not working 100%. Long story, but previous owner "fried" it with 24V battery.
It was sent of for repair, but i have noticed that live values on IID Tool are scrambled JUST for engine values.

If I were to get a replacement ECU from another TD6, is ig just a plug and play, or do i have to CODE the ECU to the engine etc?

Thanks.

Nick

You will have around 18 ECU's on an early TD6 best to get them all checked, first thing to do is speak to the IID tool guys...

All the other ecus are givinv normal values. It is only the engIne ecu that the previous owner sent off for repair, and if is only that ecu that gives strange values for live values
