England 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I fitted the Pure Highway adapter in my p38 couple years ago now, the main unit is hidden in the dash and its just a small display about 2" square sit in a holder which is removable sits on the dash, not the cheapest option at the time but I liked the idea of the main unit hidden. hopefully I will be able to fit it in the next rr as I plan on taking with me I only ever listen to planet rock on dab or cd`s, think Alpine do a unit that look identical.

Alpine EZ-DAB lets you change the display colour. I don't believe the Pure does. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

But the Pure does have a hard wired FM cable which the Alpine doesn't.

If you travel around a lot this can be very handy. It allows you to override weaker pirate stations that can mess with the signal if you use the FM to hook up rather than the aux input. Porsche 911 (996)

I quite like it. Haha.

I have a bluetooth adapter in my aux, and with a decent DAB aerial there is no need to have FM/AM at all, so being able to plug the DAB straight into the FM aerial and leave the Audx input free for bluetooth is a real bonus imho.

But only FM direct from the unit hardwired, FM signal is a waste of time. Porsche 911 (996)

The RR Autodab might be the best choice.

Do you have the screen?

This plugs in out the way and uses the RDS on your screen to control it using the steering wheel buttons etc.

The Pure Highway also uses FM also gives you in input for iphone etc. too.

There are newer version with bluetooth etc. but they are only FM transmitter rather than hard wired. Porsche 911 (996)

Have a look at this....

http://www.bassjunkies.com/car-audio-dab/d...ab-dab-lr1

It plug in the rear, into your BM54 in the boot space, then you use the radio screen to see the stations etc and the steering wheel controls to control it. You could put the aerial in the rear window for a really easy install.

Edit: 2005?
Is that the BMW nav or the later Denso Touchscreen? Porsche 911 (996)

You chaps (and chapeses just in case) are getting me worry`d now, I was hoping to keep the unit I have now and just swop it over, the after market radio I put in the p38 has an aux input so used that. Guess I will just have wait and see whats in the ffrr when I find it.
