Blimey! Did it roll over? Or have you got an iPhone?

I am lost, any chance you can expand on that? What an iPhone or a Roll-over has to do with a fire? Sorry/thanks.

Spelunker - glad you are ok. My dash sometimes makes a similar low fizzing when switched off. I assumed it was simply the HVAC system powering down.

Thanks Aja500 - I had a look back at the photos (not phone) and see what the point is now.

Just making an observation that's all.

I believe Spelunker bought a different brand of car and hasn't been on the forum since....

I cannot say I am surprised that he bought a different brand. What a shocker.

IMO - I don't see that resurrecting an old thread is an issue - it prevents having lots of threads discussing the same issue and keeps the original threads up to date with current info and makes it far easier for anyone else coming and searching through topics to get what they are looking for.

I found my way here having bought a remote for my FBH, and then hearing that a RR started the fire in the Liverpool car park recently. That made me concerned and then to read about the faint hissing noise added a little more to the worry. Hopefully someone will come along and say something like "yeah, they often do fizz/hiss" or "it is just the gas".... Mine hasn't done it for a while though now. Still, pretty nerve wracking seeing the fire related threads and by adding a post to it, I at least get a notification if any more information comes to light.
Cheers
Mark
