Any one used one of these?

Silly money for what it is but it might be a nice solution for a Hi Fi upgrade.

When it says amplified I assume it means DSP but I dunno as the description isn't great.

Best price I've found is 333quid but considering the non amplified version can be had for
less than 75quid it seems a bit of a rip off.

Hi,

I believe that with that kit you need to keep all of your semisubmersible gubbins in the boot - a bit of a risk as they all go swimming in the end.

I’ve been looking to upgrade to something like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/322780439918 while using this http://www.connects2.com/Product/ProductItem/CTKLR04

You will need to buy the 6m extension lead and bypass all of the soggy stuff but many have done it on here and Haylands has done a great write up on an Android installation.

Good luck ______________________________

Hi Simon

Personally I'm quite happy to keep all the gubbins in the boot as I love the sound & would like to keep any conversion simple.

I've followed Haylands thread with interest but it always seems to have compromises. I reckon I'll be mulling things over for a while yet as I've just had a 4k gearbox replacement and I want to do a dual battery conversion before winter sets in so thats my pocket money spit on for a while.
