20" RRS Stormers on my L322 FFRR - advice please

Hi everyone. I have a java black FFRR L322 HSE Diesel 03. It has 18" standard LR RR alloys.

It currently has a problem with the air suspension stating inactive and not moving up and down from the switch. However the ride is fine but if battery low or very cold the rear arches do go down a little.

Will it be okay to put on Range Rover Sport Stormer 20" alloys (with Achilles ATR Sports 255/35ZR20 97W XL tyres fitted)?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The profile on that (35) is consderably lower than the standard tyre and will givea very uncomfortable ride. If you want 20" Alloys go for the propper ones meant for the car Thumbs Up I believe the offset is also different as are the wheel nuts.

you have the black nuts with the smaller shank, if you change to 2006 onwards FFRR or RRS wheels then you'll need silver nuts with a 23mm shank..

i have RRS wheels on mine with 295/45/20 tyres and the ride is ok, the most common RRS tyre size is 275/40/20 which a lot of FFRR owners have...there is a difference in the offset but its only 4 mm [i think] and the wheel wiil be 9/9.5J as opposed to the FFRR which is 8/8.5j so the RRS wheel will stick out a little bit more and fill the arches better...

I have a set of stormers, not originals with tyres same size as scary that I am not using. They need a refurb but are yours 300 if you come collect? 2 tyres are brand new and 2 are about 3000 miles on them.

So basically the advice is to avoid the wheels and tyre combo but if i really want RRS wheels then to change to tyres as near 50 profile as i can get.

Thanks guys, decision made Thumbs Up
