Rear Heater Blower - Fixed | |
After about 6 years of owning the car and the rear heater blower never working properly, I thought I'd find out what the problem was.
The issue was whenever the rear fan was put on, there never seemed to be anything coming out of the vents. Today I found out why, and it was quite easy to fix in the end.
There is a flap at the back of the vent that should open when the fan is turned on. When the fan is turned off, it should close again. However, there is a piece of plastic that links between the fan control and this flap that can easily come off. Mine was sitting near the bottom of the fan, though I daresay it could get lost easily.
