I was also talking to the guy with the 12 Westminster on Donedeal for 43k and he will take 38k for it but hes not a dealer ( its commercially taxed ) his name is max and seems a genuine guy. 2015 4.4 AB

I'll send a pm. For me the tax isn't an issue as I have a limo license already on the 05. €95 annual road tax for anything 😀 happy days.

I'm not sure how or if it affects VRT to be honest. Have to renew limo licence and NCT every 6 months for any vehicle over 10 years old but it's worth it for the massive savings in road tax. Bad enough at €1494 a year for 3.0 litre but the bigger engines are crazier money. No thanks 😀

If it did change VRT status you would get a cracking AB in the uk. My 2011 would be 2500 euro per year if not taxed commercial!!!! 2015 4.4 AB

Yeah I've been looking at UK vehicles and will keep doing. No rush anyway. Good deals in Ireland just a smaller market and less to choose from.

Just an update , depolyable side steps fitted today , adds a real sense of occasion to entering and exiting RR. ( Easily pleased i know !!!) Also illuminated sill plates added and again , just makes it all a nicer experience. Just remap to go and all done....... except i bought some halo/foglights from ebay. Halo is on with DRLs and fogs remain as per normal. These are they on a discovery

Excellent Stan, i have them in the office , just need to fit them now.

Had a new battery fitted yesterday so fbh worked like a dream this morning, RR is kept in the garage overnight and when i walked in i could hear the FBH working, i was delighted !!!

The RR came with two keys but one was not in the best shape so ordered a new shell from ebay and switched old to new today and all good. Also paired fbh remote today but second fbh remote needs a.new battery.

Turned on DRLs with IID tool but disappointed to find out rear lights dont illuminate. Spoke to Gap but its not an option apparently.

Beelzebub is getting to where i want him , just a few bits to go. 2015 4.4 AB

Dolph, I'm really close to pulling the trigger on a Quantum remap for my 3.6 and would like to map out the egr's, my question is do you fit the blanks then remap or vice versa?

Hi , i didn't blank off the EGRs , just had it remapped, im not sure if they are closed or open permanently.

As for the remap , it made a huge difference to my 3.6 , throttle response and the extra push in the back at each gear change is very satisfying.

Had the illuminated sill plates fitted and they are very nice but wanted to say price was 105 stg + vat which was very keen i think.

Bought an extra key from the usual spot , it's a newer type key , smaller than my original but it came as a brand new key complete for only 38 quid. I have a spare at work and wanted a spare for home

Meant to say the new battery was 160 stg, 950 cha and 105 ah.
