Timed climate

Hi all, I'm trying to get my timed climate to work but don't seem to be having much joy.

I set the switch on time via the head unit and all that happens when it reaches the time is a fan appears to come on for around a minute then switches back off again....

Today, it's freezing outside so well below the 16 degrees mentioned in the handbook!

Is it dependant on how much fuel is in the tank?

The previous owner assured me that it worked, in fact she even showed me how to set it up so not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if it's developed a fault.

Thanks.

assuming no faults, factors that affect if it will run either in heat mode or vent mode.

their must be sufficient fuel in the tank (not in the red)
the charge state of the battery must be good. If low , it may run for only a short time if at all
if the FBH has logged any error codes, they may prevent from re-starting
the FBH will only run once pre start /stop cycle of the engine.
the outside air temp I believe is more like 13 Celsius not 16 to determine if it starts up in heat mode or vent mode.

of course there are many other threads with discussing how temperamental these units can be.

Thanks for your help guys. I'm in the process of buying am IID tool so hopefully that will help me as somethings definitely not right.

It was about 4 degrees last time i tried it and had plenty of fuel in the tank. Battery is new so it's not that.

Thanks again.
