A few months back I replaced the contact side of the ignition switch in my 06 SC after constant issues with it intermittently failing to start.all has been well since I changed the switch until a few days ago when I'm getting the same kind of issue. First flick of the key gives me a tick as if the battery is flat, if I try it a few times it will start but today I held the key over in the start position and it eventually sprung into life??? Just like the contact side of the switch is bad again?? I fitted a brand new genuine unit so can't see that being at fault???? Can't be battery because it will start the more times you try it???
Any ideas??????????

Dodgy starter motor, bad earth to motor, bad + connection to motor. If there is a click it sounds ;like the starter solenoid is working.
