Webasto T91 changing to heat question

HI guys,

I have a 2011my Full fat tdv8 , it has the T91 fbh system fitted , the car didnt come with a fob. I have since got one and a brand new battery . I have successfully paired the fob with the car and have heard the fuel burner in the car fire up.
The problem i am having is i cant select heat mode (red led) i have done what the webasto pdf instructions say to do , which is hold both button down to see what mode its in. But when i do this nothing happens.

When i press on the green led lights up and then flashed every 2 secs or so , but thats it.

Please help me ............ Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

where it says ,

A mode change on the transmitter is not required for this purpose, as the "parking heating" or "parking
ventilation" function is determined by the switch position of the summer/winter switch.

pretty sure the FF has this 'auto' switch'.... ... - .- -.

Funny I was just reading the Webasto manual and thinking I was going mad re LEDs and change over mode. So the RR operation seems quite different to the standard.

. Cheers, Greg

So i pressed the fob this morning , heard the burner fire up and run , 25 mins later goes out to leave the house and guess what ??? the car is still cold inside .........

Where do i go from here , i have stood outside and heard the burner running so its not that , what else could be the problem ??

Just because the fan is blowing it doesn't mean it the FBH has fired up. Can you also hear a tick tick tick from the solenoid fuel pump or see/smell exhaust fumes?

Mine works perfectly until the battery voltage drops a bit then switches off to preserve starting so you need a good battery fully charged.

On the 2011 4.4TDV8 the iiD tool can read error codes from the FBH iirc. Might be worth a try. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE

Did a test this afternoon and i 'think' i know what the problem is.
I sat in the car and pressed the on button on the t91 remote, i heard the burner fire up and a ticking from the rear.
Then after a few minutes the burner slowly went quieter then seemed to go off.
So i decided to leave it and watch some tv in the car whilst i waited for my daughter to come out of school.
Only after a few minutes a message popped up on the screen saying ' low battery shutting down'
So i am guessing my battery is near the end of its life , the car starts perfect every day , but i am guessing its the original battery as the car is an 2011 model.
So maybe time for a new one before it dies.

you'll get that 'low battery shut off' warning even if the battery is ok... if the engine isnt running then the FF shuts all the electronics off after about ten minutes or so... ... - .- -.
