From an aesthetic perspective, I can’t see how there’s an argument in favour of (legal) tinted glass - the contrast between clear front and dark rear windows just awkwardly splits the greenhouse and makes them look like VAT-dodge vans.

Totally agree - the ffrr with privacy glass isn't as elegant and classy as with clear glasses IMO, and with clear glass the floating roofline become much more apperant, I think. Vans with privacy glass can get the drug dealer or hearse look...

Just to add some extra info-
LWB comes as standard with rear electric blinds.
In the 2017 MY, you can get the roof bars and side steps thet are specific for lwb.
The LWB also comes with large rear screens as standard, so the extra you pay, there is additional equipment which covers some of the additional price

First world problem here. Laughing

I think you should ditch the "silver accent" and go with what I can only assume is a yorkshire accent....likely suits you much better tbh. Have the long wheelbase, I will drive you around in it no problem, salary negotiable but if I can have weekend dibs on the now highlighted and very worthy addition, a mistress, we have a deal Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

You don't like the silver contrast roof?

Does it matter what anyone else thinks?

Surely it’s whether you like it.  What do I put here then?

Thats a good point..... The trouble is, I'm not sure Smile

More so since cam-tech-craig pointed out that it's a different shade to the accent vents

Surely your local dealer has 'samples' of the different colours they can show you. What do I put here then?

Personally, I hate the silver roof - one of my neighbours has it and I think it just looks awful - just plain odd - he likes it though.... his is on a black car with dark widows though.

However, I do like the black roof with black windows - so I guess our tastes are somewhat different.

Me too I am afraid - it looks a bit "Indian"

The roof's a bit of a tough one on the new model - I went for the silver roof as I thought it tied in well with the side vents.

If you don't add the contrast roof, you're only left with the following options:

1. You just go for the Atlas Accents on their own, but I think these without the silver contrast roof look a bit random and oddly placed.

2. You take the Atlas Accents off, leaving you with just the body coloured vents...... Except they're not really body coloured at all, they're a sort of a matt colour. See image attached,

Also, the thin silver strip along the bottom of the car without atlas vents, which I thought looked quite tasteful on the old model, is now gone on the new one

I’d just have the satin plastic bits painted to match the rest.

I guess that's an option...... It's just after spending more than £100k, the last thing I feel I should have to do is send a brand new car down to the paint shop
