Ive sold the FF and bought RRS SVR. The diesel thing was giving me sleepless nights and while i still had equity in my car i thought best to get out of it.
Ive wanted an SVR since driving one so here it is.
I will stay on here if thats ok as you're a great bunch and very informative.

I hope you have a loyalty card for your local fuel station - I was talking to a guy last week who sold his as he never saw double figures on mpg

Had one of these burble up our street the other day. Magnificent sound! Had to almost change my undercrackers

But Jay has an Aston for all of that...

I only do 7k a year so not really worried about MPG.
It's a very capable car with the comfort of a Range Rover. I had a lively drive back form Northampton and got 20MPG.

I will be back in a FF in a couple of years, by then they will have 450-550 BHP petrol Electric cars all sorted will 100 mile electric range and 120 MPG.
I think it will take a couple of years before we see big jumps in Tech with Landrover but they are certainly trying.

Got to love the justification/man-logic of transferring from a 4.4 Diesel V8 to a 5.0 SC Petrol for environmental and/or tax and/or value retention point of view I don’t think that I’d ever get that one passed my “Management”!

But what a glorious engine though! We won’t see the likes of it again and you really should have a riot with this one
