I don't know Birmingham airport, Stan.

But as nobody else has replied - yet ...

I usually hole up at the nearest petrol station to arrivals.

A quick Google suggests this could work for you. What do I put here then?

I stayed overnight at. A hotel for a morning flight - their shuttle bus dropped us just short of the terminal - one stop on the monorail as much easier apparently......

Mossing the point Wink

There’s a monorail form the terminal to i think the station with a mid stop - there you can just scoop them up and be on your way - the mini bus driver said he never goes near the drop off area Thumbs Up

Would need to google it for specifics - and it may be just too complicated, but thought I’d mention it

That does work Stan, you are facing the wrong way but no hassle just go up the road around the island and back to airport, by the time they have texted you and got there bags you will be there.

I'm from the area.

Park up at the International Station drop off car park. You can leave the car for 20 mins for free, but probably stay in the car for longer. (no ticket required)

Get the people flying in to jump on the Skyrail monorail system (it only has 1 stop) and come over to the station, then down the escalators and out the door. Turn right and they will see you parked up in about 20 footsteps. __

Blimey, I have just arrived home and landed at Birmingham at midday.

There are still a few delays due to the snow and a shortage of baggage handlers. So expect delays of around 40 minutes or so.

Jim
