Heading off for a week’s holiday in Wales...

Going for a pre Christmas break in our favourite holiday let out on the moors in central Wales on Saturday.

It’s on very high ground, 2 miles from the nearest lane and accessible by various tracks. The forestry track’s my favourite. They’ve just emailed to say that they’ve been stranded since Saturday with a foot of snow and they’ve just emailed to tell me to come “prepared” (they have a RRS and they’re still stranded). That’s my kind of holiday! Very Happy

Yep, definitely certifiable and here's a photo that's just been taken and sent to us from the front of the house:

I've just been shopping around for a set of winter tyres and the best delivery promise that I could get was "from 72 hours" from TyreLeader, which is really too vague to be certain that they'd be here for Saturday morning Sad

However, looking at the weather forecast, I think that most of it will be gone by the time that we get there Big Cry

looks great there sadly I don't know if my fatty will be back in time Saturday to go away for xmas as I need a 5 seater plus luggage not a poxie loan car also will lose my deposit and not possible to cancel hols away a xmas as insurance company are asses !
