United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Carpathian Grey

Not quit a straight swop.

If the wheels you buy are from a MY 2016 (might have been sitting around in stock) the tyre pressure sensor will not work with a MY2017 onwards. All the wheel sensors will need upgrading to the later spec. Previous

United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV6 Loire Blue

Well, we picked up the new car on Friday of last week after our return from holiday Thursday night. We have spent the weekend visiting family and friends in our new toy. Approx 400 miles on a mix of roads from motorways to the hills of Yorkshire. What a fantastic piece of kit! Iโ€™ve had some nice cars over the years, but after always promising myself a full fat rangey before 50 and managing to get one 4 years early. My only regret is not getting one earlier!

Well and truly in the honeymoon period with this one. I was initially a bit concerned about the lack of power compared to our 40d X5. I now think the tdV6 suits the car perfectly! The gearbox does all its work perfectly and matches the car perfectly.
The comfort of the thing is sublime, all the toys and gadgets work utmost intuitive ease. I really canโ€™t fault this motor at all an absolute joy to drive and to be driven in. The Mrs remarked earlier that cruising down the M1 in the passenger seat is like being sat in business class for the first time, when you have always flown in cattle class ๐Ÿ‘

All in all a great car, doesnโ€™t need the 22โ€ wheels or the dms tune I had got planned.

Enjoy your full fats in good health people ๐Ÿ‘

Fantastic news and congratulations on getting there before 50! Unfortunately, I didnโ€™t get there until 53 Rolling Eyes Laughing

8 hours seems optimistic, but I wish you luck - you'll certainly get to experience a variety of roads on that trip Thumbs Up

Google maps give it just over 8, so I suppose with a couple of coffee breaks it will probably be about 9.

Certainly looking forward to it and I have never said that before about such a long drive Thumbs Up

We used to run regularly from Reading to Aberdeen up the M6 and it was usually around 10hrs.

Not sure what it'd be from Suffolk, but Google maps will be assuming no holdups on the M1?

I can't think of a better car to do such a long journey in.

Mike

Have done a similar journey dozens of times now and 10 hours seems to be the natural average.

Interestingly doing this journey was the main reason for buying this car with seat comfort absolutely at the top of the list.

Finely honed the stopping points for coffee and fuel - Gretna being the popular halfway point

Still loving the FF and no issues at all, had it detailed and coated locally and it looked amazing for all of 2 days.....

Still looking at wheel options and Iโ€™ve just posted in wheel section, are the Overfinch options any good or have I now lost all remaining taste ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคช ?
